Royal Riverton #8 Schoolhouse Museum

DISCOVERING ROYAL! Clay County PALS spent the morning at Royal’s Riverton #8 Historic Schoolhouse and Museum, learning about Royal’s history and the one-room schoolhouse. The kids and their adult mentors participated in a scavenger hunt in the school house, identifying historic relics found in Royal’s museum. Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch at the Royal Cafe and popped into Frederick’s Grocery Store where Ms. Shirley treated the kids to goodies and her precious smile!
