Funds earmarked for educational learning experiences with mentors
The Clay County PALS are pleased to announce it has been selected to receive a grant from the Walden Charitable Foundation for the 2022 year.
The funds are earmarked for use in providing educational fun and learning opportunities for the mentors and youth of the Clay County PALS. According to the grant request, the adult PALS and their mentors will spend a day being exposed to art as well as an interactive science gallery at a destination location yet to be determined.
“We are so grateful to have been selected once again for this generous donation by the Walden Family,” said Susan Christensen, PALS Coordinator. “We were selected to receive a grant in 2019, which we used to purchase t-shirts and a t-shirt iron machine. These gifts have helped alleviate a few financial burdens that would otherwise come from our operating funds. This year’s grant is going to be fun to allocate. We’re all excited to get busy having fun and growing in friendship together with the PALS.”
Thanks for your generosity, Walden Family!
