Pals visit Royal’s Riverton #8 One Room Schoolhouse

The Clay County PALS visited Royal’s Riverton #8 Historic Schoolhouse and Museum on Saturday, March 25, 2023, where they learned about Royal’s community history and the history of one-room schoolhouses. The kids and their adult mentors participated in a scavenger hunt in the school house, identifying historic relics found in Royal’s museum. Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch at the Royal Cafe and popped into Frederick’s Grocery Store where Ms. Shirley treated the kids to goodies and her precious smile!
